Changes to the Russell Investments Global Opportunities Fund and Russell Investments Global Opportunities Fund $NZ Hedged.
In February Russell Investments added two new managers to their Global Opportunities Funds (‘GOF Funds’) and removed two managers. This flows into the Russell Investments Global Shares and Hedged Global Shares Funds, as they invest in the GOF Funds.
Summary of key changes:
- Janus (Perkins) and QUAERO CAPITAL removed from the manager line up; replaced with Nissay Asset Management (“Nissay”) and Oaktree Capital Management (“Oaktree”).
- Updated Numeric Investors’ (“Numeric”) investment mandate to include the manager’s global low-volatility strategy.
- The managers weights have also changed, see table below.
These changes were effective end of January 2020.
