Introducing… Clayton Adams
Clayton is the Head of Operations at IIS. While Clayton is one of the newest members of the team, he already has a deep understanding of the IIS business and philosophy having previously spent several years as the IIS account manager at Global Custodian BNP Paribas. In this BNP role Clayton has been heavily involved in the establishment of the initial IIS funds and fund hosting operational model. Clayton is also very familiar with the IIS team, having worked alongside Anthony Edmonds and Andrew Brockway at AMP Capital Investors in the late 1990’s, so jumped at the chance to bring the band back together when the opportunity arose to join IIS at the end of last year.
A Wellington native Clayton had spent much of his career working in fund operations and trading roles in London and Europe before returning home in 2015 to be closer to friends and family. When he’s not in the office you can find Clayton running around the hills and beaches of Wellington’s south coast, gardening, cooking, or walking the dog (Beauden) with his wife Lynda and two young kids, Mia and Tom.
